Celebrities

A celebrity or a famous one is a widely known person who
demands a high degree of attention on the part of the public and mass media.
According to the Real Academia Española, “celebrity” is a “famous person”, and
the word comes from the Latin celebrĭtas; “famous” it also comes from the Latin,
famōsus. Whereas the fame is generally a requirement to reach estatus of
“celebrity”, not always it is sufficient. It must exist certain level of public
interest in the person, who can be motivated, or no, with the ratio for which
that person is famous. Many celebrities are it only during a period of concrete
time, by to have perhaps appeared in a program of television or credit done
something locates that them under the inspection of election returns of the
public, as to cross the English Channel to I swim or to have been first in doing
something. There are also specialistic celebrities, that are only celebrities
for which they enjoy a subject in particular and for that reason they consider
celebrities within that reduced circle to them.
A public figure as a politician or an industralist can be famous, but not to
become a celebrity unless the interest of the public or mass media is excited.
For example, the director of the company Virgin, Richard Branson was famous like
executive or industralist, but he did not become a celebrity until he tried to
circumnavigate the Earth in a balloon. On the other hand, the personalities of
the world of the spectacle as actres of culebrones or stars of music pop can
become celebrities even if the people deliberately try to elude the attention of
mass media.
